Snow!

We've already shoveled the side walk a couple times and it keeps coming down.  We are supposed to have double this amount by tomorrow morning.  For all you CO people - don't forget to shovel in front of your house or you'll get a ticket! 

Now how am I supposed to get to work in the morning?

Oscar

This is our weather forecaster Oscar. He demonstrates how we should dress for the weather outside. I went to see what he was saying tonight because it is hot in our house! Turns out I was right, it's warmer in here than outside. When it's really hot out he wears super short shorts and sunglasses. Lucky for you it's not that warm out and he's a little covered up in this picture. When it's cold he gets really bundled in boots, jacket, gloves, the works.

Where is the Sun?

I swear that every single Thursday the weather is cloudy and rainy/snowy. Kickball was cancelled yet again due to snow and wet fields. Last week we had our game and it was cold and windy. We had to forfeit our game because we got disqualified for 3 reasons.

1.) Not enough players - need 12
2.) Our team members who were suppose to ref some games before ours didn't show up
3.) Not enough girls (need at least 4 girls).

So, we played anyway and we won but we still had to forfeit. At least deep down we know we won! And Leah and I are the only girls who have made it to each game.

This is the view from my office window. I'm watching the clouds roll in, waiting for the snow to start because it's Thursday and that is what happens on Thursdays. I stare out this window quite often when I'm sick of staring at my computer. I also enjoy watching the smoker group from the building across the street. There is a smoking section on the deck of an office not far from my view. There is one lady that comes out and she looks like she's always ranting and raving, she waves her arms around and looks like she's telling very animated stories. I'm sure she's complaining about a co-worker or a boss or her workload, the normal office drama. It's funny to watch her and try to imagine what she is so worked up about.

Snow Snow Go Away

Colorado is playing tricks! It was hot and beautiful out the past couple days. Now... it's snowing. I'm convinced Colorado hates kickball. Our kickball game was cancelled last week due to snow (Thursday is the only day the weather was bad all week) and it looks like tomorrow might not be much better.

PS- I know my dog seems to be in most of my pictures and I'd like to take the opportunity to make a claim about that. I don't mean for him to be in all of them but really- he follows me everywhere I go. Sometimes I get annoyed and give the lovely command of, "GO" and point my finger. He then mopes away a whole 4 feet back and stares at me like someone has just beat him with a 100 pound hammer.

All Snow and No Play

Kickball was cancelled due to snow. How sad, I was looking forward to it. Since that was all I had planned tonight I might just take the opportunity to re-vamp my blog. We'll see if it happens!

One More Week!

This weekend was nice and relaxing. It was beautiful weather so we went for a bike ride around town. We enjoyed Sunday as much as we could before the madness begins.... dun dun dun.... it's almost wedding time!

Snowy Day

It is a snow day today in Denver. That is good news though. The mountains have been in desperate need for some snow. But I am not a big fan when my little mini doesn't want to make it up the icy hills on my way to work. I made it though... and will be getting a ride home from my neighbor that I work with! Mini will be staying in the work parking garage tonight.

Hail Damage

You know it's finally feeling like summer when you have a beautiful warm weekend followed by a nice loud hail storm. I'm thankful that I have underground parking at work (and so is my car)!

Thunder & Lightning Oh My!

Someone is a little scared of thunder. He's been under there for over an hour now. He won't even come out for a dog treat. Come on... who doesn't like doggie treats!!!!! I guess I'll go get some dinner myself (unfortunately I am not a huge fan of dog treats. The whole "mystery meat in the shape of a mini steak" just doesn't do it for me!). I hope he's out when I get back. Poor pup.
