Sarah's Wedding

Dancing time.

A Christmas ornament as the cake topper.

Angie

Austin & Sarah.  I wish I had more pics of the bride and groom.

Here we are at Sarah's wedding.  It was fun to catch up with all her CO friends that were in town.  Earlier in the day I told Austin, "I want to go to a concert" and my wish was granted.  Angie sang during the ceremony and for the first dance.  I liked when she played at the end of the night the best.  Poor Angie, she always has to play at her friends weddings, good for us though!  You can check her out on iTunes (Angie Stevens), I particularly like "Bring it on Back".  The bride and groom were able to get the "Drinking Song" out of her too.  It was quite fun.

Sarah's Rehearsal Dinner

Jessica & Sarah

Angie and Sarah

We spent the weekend in Mckinney, Texas for Sarah's wedding.  We used to work together a few years ago till she moved back to Texas.  Here we are at the rehearsal dinner the night before the big day.  Austin and the groom's mom had the same vest on.

Kristi & James Wedding

Kristi & James got married at the Trinity Church downtown. It is a beautiful old church in the heart of the city. It was a heartwarming ceremony and then we were off to the reception at the Cable Center at DU. The place was gorgeous!!!

These are real branches they brought inside to make trees!

Beautiful!
The first dance.
Groom, mother of the bride and bride of course.

The whole wedding had an Italian theme. Here they set up a fountain and had a painting of the Trevi Fountain. James proposed to Kristi in front of the fountain in Italy. They set out coins and the guests were to toss in a coin and make a wish for the newlyweds. They are going to keep all the coins. I thought it was so cute.

Their photographer was Jenna Walker Photography, same people we used. So I can't wait to see their wedding photo's. They will be amazing! Congrats to the happy couple. Now they are off to the Canary Islands for 2 weeks.

After the Nuptials...

Charlie used to own a bar in Durango and they were so nice to rent it out for the night. The whole place was decorated and packed with all the guests from the wedding. Well... the guests who didn't go to bed. We danced all through the night!

The newlywed.
Leah & James shaking it!

It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A!
This pic above was after the first night in Durango. We got home late and were all locked out of our room. We were tired so we had a seat on the floor while we waited for the hotel worker to get us a new key. And NO it was not user error. As Leah informed us many times she used to work in a hotel, she knows how to use room keys! This picture of her makes me laugh.

Kiley & Charlie's Wedding

Kiley & Charlie getting hitched in front of the mountains. It was a lovely setting.

It was a tad bit sunny out!

Waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Hello! Jasmine took this picture of my face because I was wearing my camera around my neck like usual. I know, it's a fashion statement.
Heels + grass = pain in the arse.

Evergreen girls minus Kiley. Julia, the one cheering, moved the following Monday to Vermont for school.

The boys.
Dinner was delicious!
The cab/van ride home, off to the after party.

We all had a great time in Durango for Kiley & Charlie's wedding. There were many festivities going on. On Friday night we all headed out on the Durango town. We met up with the wedding party (not sure if all 17 wedding attendants made it out after their rehearsal dinner... yes, 17!)

Then on Saturday we tried to go tubing down the river but ended up rafting. Long story. Then we headed to the wedding and the after party.

We're Back

We made it home from Durango safe and sound. I need a break from the mountains and from road trips. For the past three weekends I have been in three different mountain towns-Telluride, Breckenridge and Durango. I will be posting pictures of the wedding soon, so check back tomorrow!

Bye Kiley & Charlie

Kiley & Charlie have finally moved to Durango. After the wedding festivities we headed to say goodbye to our friends. At least I have her wedding in a few months to look forward to. Weddings are great fun!!

Yay Theresa & David

Theresa & David recently got married. This was a while ago but I'm a bit behind on posting pictures. She has already been to Cabo on her honeymoon and back. The best man, David's brother, wasn't able to be there because he is currently serving in Iraq but he didn't let that hold him back from making a speech. He made his toast via video and even gave a cheers with a Coors Light. We all had a blast. Although I am rather worried... Theresa & I share an office together, what will we talk about at work now that my wedding and her wedding are over with!?

Austin, Emily, Kenley & I were in Cabo San Lucas a week before the newlyweds headed out there. We left them a dollar bill to find at The Elbow Bar in town. It's an itty-bitty bar covered in dollar bills. When she got back she showed us a picture, they found it!
