Octoberfest #2

It's not every day you see a German ho down in front of an R8.

Another day, another Octoberfest.  Although this one was for work.

Work Buddies

Here are all my fellow workers. We headed to our favorite place The Rio. It's only a block from the office so how could we resist!?

This is Keisha. She sits on my co-worker, Theresa's, window ledge. She looked like she was shouting to the rooftops so I gave her a little word bubble (I can't remember what I wrote anymore) and an umbrella. It gets pretty sunny sitting by the window all day!

Where is the Sun?

I swear that every single Thursday the weather is cloudy and rainy/snowy. Kickball was cancelled yet again due to snow and wet fields. Last week we had our game and it was cold and windy. We had to forfeit our game because we got disqualified for 3 reasons.

1.) Not enough players - need 12
2.) Our team members who were suppose to ref some games before ours didn't show up
3.) Not enough girls (need at least 4 girls).

So, we played anyway and we won but we still had to forfeit. At least deep down we know we won! And Leah and I are the only girls who have made it to each game.

This is the view from my office window. I'm watching the clouds roll in, waiting for the snow to start because it's Thursday and that is what happens on Thursdays. I stare out this window quite often when I'm sick of staring at my computer. I also enjoy watching the smoker group from the building across the street. There is a smoking section on the deck of an office not far from my view. There is one lady that comes out and she looks like she's always ranting and raving, she waves her arms around and looks like she's telling very animated stories. I'm sure she's complaining about a co-worker or a boss or her workload, the normal office drama. It's funny to watch her and try to imagine what she is so worked up about.

Funny Sarah

Sarah always makes me laugh. We were blowing up balloons for a surprise baby shower for our boss. Sarah took it apon herself to go for the pregnant look, this is her best pregnant pose.

Snowy Day

It is a snow day today in Denver. That is good news though. The mountains have been in desperate need for some snow. But I am not a big fan when my little mini doesn't want to make it up the icy hills on my way to work. I made it though... and will be getting a ride home from my neighbor that I work with! Mini will be staying in the work parking garage tonight.

Secrets

Theresa sent me this picture from our company holiday party. Austin and I were telling secrets. What were we talking about....hm..... you'll never know! (I don't know either.)

Team Spirit!

Here at the office we have Rockies team spirit. Tonight is the first game of the World Series!Sarah wore her beautiful purple cheerleading sweater from high school. She even has in the home made hair barret with purple ribbon and bells. In this picture she was re-living her cheerleading days and that ever so classic high school pose.

Walk

I walked to work this morning. I'm headed to the building to the right of the tallest one.

Grumpy to Delighted

I was having a grump of a day and the boy-toy was in the area so... he surprised me with a jamba-juice complete with a little note written on it. Awwww... Sorry Austin for posting this but it made me smile so I had too!

I'm Moody

I borrowed Sarah's mood ring at work today to test my mood. (I didn't know they still make mood rings!) I was feeling very green for a while, then blue, then purple, I was even pink for a short time.

A Long Friday

Sarah is the free spirit in the office and quite an amazing engineer too! She built a house all by herself, I was quite impressed!

Ahhh-Chooo

Still have a cold but that is a-okay because it is a beautiful day out. Here is what I am looking at out my office window right this very second! This is what I stare at when I'm not looking at my computer screen. You can see the second row of mountains still have snow on them... and it is May!

You Go The Distance

I got attacked by a super duper cold/sinus infection. Today at work Sarah made me a lovley modivator to "Go the Distance". So, I put a smile on my face, blew my nose, and typed the rest of my day away. When I am feeling blue I will look at my jolly runner girl and go the distance. I think she looks like me!
