Happy Anniversary!

On Thanksgiving this year my parents celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversay.  Congrats!!  The Zabawa's dog wouldn't leave their side because we had popped open some champagne earlier for a toast and he didn't like it.  The poor dog wouldn't stop shaking for hours.

Trains Galore!

Mom, I think this is getting out of control.  Don't deny that you like the trains just as much (if not more) than than little Noah :)

Superman Goes to the Zoo

Family

Matt, Bernie & Annie were in town. We all got together for a family photo, hence the black and white outfits. Austin and Noah spent a lot of time playing in the leaves.

Noah

I'm posting pics of Noah just because he's cute. We took him to see Thomas the train. He has a slight train obsession.

Family Dinner

We had my parents over for dinner. My mom is always cooking for us so we figured it was time to entertain them. Austin was playing with the whoopie cushion he won at Dave & Busters and it broke. Darn, I'm really going to miss that thing... not.

Family

Caleb and Noah stopped by to say hello. They were at the Taste of Colorado where Caleb bought him a fun hat. Goodness he's cute!

Aspen Jazz Fest

Happy Labor Day weekend! I hope everyone had a joyous time with lovely weather. We headed up to Aspen for the Jazz Fest. We stayed with Larry (Austin's cousin) who lives at the Roaring Fork Club. We saw some live music, did some hiking and went out on the town. Emily and Kenley got free tickets from a friend so we met up with them Saturday night at Bob Dylan. I love a good breath of mountain fresh air!

Awww... here is Sierra. She is 14 years old and came on our hike with us. She loves to swim in the cool lake water.

Safety First

Please remember to always wear your bike helment. There are some crazy drivers out there. And who knows what dog you can run into while riding through the kitchen.

Tiny Town

We headed to Tiny Town so Noah could feel like a giant next to the tiny buildings. We rode the train and said, "Chooo-choooo" a zillion times. If you are looking for a fun place to entertain the little kiddos head to Tiny Town.

Maybe He'll Be a Swimmer

Toddlers are so fun! You can turn anything into a toy, including a swim cap and goggles.

Aunt Kiki

I babysat Noah the other day. Besides getting me brutally sick it was quite fun. It was raining out and I have zero kid toys at my house so we went to the Children's Museum of Denver. It is only a few minutes down the road. That place is kid crazy! He ran in and out of fake tree's, fished in a mini fishing boat, and basically wore me out with all the chasing after him. I learned that he is the perfect height to bonk his head on every single thing he walks by. He's a walking hazard! Don't worry, he made it through alive.I don't have any toddler suitable chairs so I propped him up in this tall one and made some barriers on each side just in case.

Mr. Chris

Here is Austin's brother Chris. He joined us for the 4th. It's nice when he comes to visit. He even brought us wine and some sweet potato souffle (which my little brother Caleb wolfed down the next day). How nice of him! Little Chris has become so polite and grown up! We had some good times hanging out on the back patio grilling out. Hopefully he will be moving back to Colorado in about a year. We'll see!

Congrats Jeff & Erin

Babies, babies everywhere!

Jeff & Erin Jones had their baby! This is Euchre Baby #3. Hello little Morgan. Too bad they recently moved to New York so I won't get to see her in person anytime soon. As long as I get picture updates I'll be happy.

Meet Charlie!

NO, I did not find another stray dog. Our dog, Parker, has been depressed latley so we decided he needed a friend. We headed to the Denver Dumb Friends League and adopted our new family member. Say HI to Charlie!

Charlie is some type of border collie mix I think, he has light spots like a dalmation and his ears are huge. He is a little dog, he has enough energy to keep up with Parker, and he's just so darn cute!! So far he hasn't peed in the house so that makes him extra special. You gotta love a house trained dog.

Austin got him a lovely Hawaiian looking collar. It looks very handsome. And we got one of those turbo dog leashes that holds two dogs on the same leash. We'll see how that works when I attempt to walk them both at the same time tonight.

The two dogs have not stopped playing the whole day. I put them out back and they run around in our yard that is currently a mound of dirt. I can't wait for next weekend when we get sod put in! If one dog tries to laydown and sleep the other guy pounces on him or barks to get him to play. It's rather annoying but I'm glad they are happy. We've done well.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my dad and all the other dad's out there. We headed to Evergreen to hang out with my Euchre Group dad's. Here is a picture of Mr. Dad & I sharing Glenn's jacket.
