Nuggets

We headed to our first Nuggets game of the season and had a blast.  I love watching Rocky be mean to fans, admiring Kenyon Martins big juicy lips tattoo (ewwwww), seeing the little kiddos go nuts over the Birdman, and seeing JR make 3 pointers.  Those are my favorite things and all of them are bound to happen at each game.  Nuggies won!

Olympics Catch Up

Since I've been gone I have missed all the Olympic festivities. I am catching up online right now. My brother Matt told me to watch the men's 4x100 free relay. Since my brothers and I all grew up as swimmers we are big fans of the swimming. Matt was right, this event was awesome! You have to watch till the end. If you have ever swam you can appreciate how hard that is to do. Now I'm off to watch more video's of what I've missed. WATCH HERE

You might be asked to download something but it only takes a minute and is very worth it because you can watch all kinds of Olympic events.

Monday Rockies

After work we headed to the Rockies game on Monday night. It's quite convenient to work downtown really close to the Coors Field. The Rockies lost to the Cardinals but that was ok because Emily & I got to bond with Dinger the mascot.

Nuggets Lose

We went to the Nuggets game again. Incase you are wondering why we go to so many games it's because Austin bought a weekend 10 pack and so did my dad. So we get to see the family and watch some bball. I love basketball games. They are loud and fast paced because they make so many baskets. There is fun random entertainment and you can always watch the mascot Rocky. It's also entertaining to look through the binoculars to see who is sitting courtside. La La who is dating or married to one of the players is always there and Bronco's player Jay Cutler was there too. I am not happy in this picture because the Nuggets were loosing to the Portland Trail Blazers. The Nuggies never made a come back and lost the game 105 to 116.

Blast From the Past

It was 80's night at the Nuggets game this weekend. The half time show was 80's rapper Tone Loc. I wasn't sure who that was till he started singing his 2 famous songs- "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina". At the first Nuggets home game of the year Coolio played the halftime show. Apparently basketball games are where old washed up rappers go.
