Maui

Phew.... I've spent the whole afternoon today downloading pictures from the past few weeks and doing some marathon blogging. I have added many new posts! Read and enjoy.

The day of our wedding it was a beautiful sunny day and over 70 degrees. The next morning we woke up to a blizzard! Our flight to Maui was a bit delayed due to the weather but after running as fast as we could through the Phoenix airport to make our connecting flight we made it! Our luggage didn't make it for a few days but that was okay (which explains the jeans in some pictures).
Maui was beautiful. We saw whales, went on a helicopter ride, went inside a lava tube & saw massive turtles. I was so excited about the whales! We went on a sailing trip to see them but you could see them from the beach. They were everywhere and lots of baby whales. Did you know that baby whales gain 100 pounds a day!?

I'm holding up a wine cork in one of the photo's. That is because we decided to keep something to remember each anniversary. We decided on a wine cork so I wrote anniversary #0 on it since next year will be our first anniversary. And did you see the whale? If you click on it you can see him a little better. The captian said this whale was about a week old.
