Paws of Life

There was a news story not long ago about a boy in Colorado who started a lemonade stand. He started it to raise money for a medical assistance dog for his brother who has diabetes. I didn't know that dogs can smell when you blood sugar is low and therefore help prevent seizures in the middle of the night. I am a sucker for these things so I tried to get the people in my office to each donate $10.00. Well.... I only got 3 people to do it but that's better than nothing! Now the kid has raised tons of money, more than he needed so he is helping other kinds with diabetes get a dog. Awww.... check it out- http://www.pawsoflife.net/
