Oprah is going to be in town for the Democratic Convention. If any of you Oprah fans would like to come out and see your favorite lady out on the town you are welcome to rent out our house (conveniently located 2 miles from the Pepsi Center) for $5,000. Do it for Oprah.Okay, so maybe not but I can tell you it is going to be a mad house here during the convention. I rode my bike past the Broncos Stadium yesterday and there were sooooo many fire trucks and emergency vehicles parked out back. I assume it is for the convention. And outside the Pepsi Center are tons of tents and trailers. My neighborhood is running specials that week for convention goers. Unfortunately, none of them apply to locals. Bummer. Anyone want to loan me your DNC pass just so I can get 15% off some wine at Mondo Vino. I repeat... don't do it for me, do it for Oprah.
