Once Thanksgiving is over it is officially the holiday season (even though in the stores the Xmas season started a while ago). Austin & I hung some lights on our first house together to get in the spirit. I was very proud of our one strand of lights on the gutter and our lights wrapped around the front arch..... till I got home from the zoo and saw our neighbors yard. They went all out with a blow up santa, a light up nativity scene, lighted up reindeer, another little glowing santa, and a huge blow up snowman. Wow, I am no longer very impressed with our Christmas decorations. There's always next year. I also forgot to mention we hung a wreath on the door which I thought would really bring our decorations to the next level. Well, we still look silly next to our neighbors but that's okay, it is our first Christmas together in our first house together, that's all I need to make me happy! (But next year our fellow neighbors better watch out, it's on!!!!!!)

What do you mean by it's on!!!! I don't wan our house to look like the christmas vacation house.... let's just say we'll make it beautiful together! love ya 27 year old!!

Well you both are no fun! I might even put santa and all 8 of his reindeer on the roof next year!!! On Dasher & on Dancer... on Prancer... something like that.
