New Belgium Brewery

Our friend scored us a free tour at New Belgium Brewery up in Fort Collins. We had so much fun. If you are in the mood for beer & bicycles head up north. You get samplers at the end and a nice tour of the place. It seems like an interesting place to work at. It is all employee owned and those employee's get a free case of beer every week. They also get a custom made New Belgium cruiser bike after you work there for a year, and you get a trip to Belgium to taste the beer there first hand after your 5 year anniversary with the company.

In this part of the brewery they make 700 bottles a minute! That's a lot of beer.

After the tour each person chooses 4 beers from their selections to try out. We got the classics like Fat Tire along with some gross beer that was sour and very un-beer like. While you drink you can fill out postcards they have at your table. You pop them in their mailbox and they stamp them for you and mail them out. You can see Austin mailing his postcards.
Here are some old school beer bottles that were made into a neat artistic light fixture. And there's also a picture of St. Andrew. They have a garden devoted to St. Andrew because he once said something about beer being more pure then water so you should drink beer. They shut down the brewery on November 30th which is his day and they have a huge party to celebrate him.
